Under a phased project approach, Matrix provided a turnkey EPC solution for the liquefaction and vaporization upgrades for the Delmarva Power & Light LNG Plant in Wilmington, Delaware.
This project was divided into two phases. The first phase completed in November of 2024 and the second phase finished August of 2025.
Matrix expedited the vaporization upgrades to bring the new system online in time for the 2024 heating season. In the second phase, completed in August of 2025, Matrix integrated the client’s pre-purchased liquefaction system into the overall plant design to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
