This FEED project in Valdosta, Georgia consists of two trains that produce a total of 14.4 MTP of purified gaseous hydrogen, from a sodium chlorate off-gas, for high pressure truck loading. Matrix completed the FEED (FEL-3) for the project in the Fall of 2024.

Some of the primary engineering accomplishments include: Engineering Risk Assessment, Facility Siting, Cooling Water, Instrument/ Plant Air, Electric Power, Nitrogen Generator, Feed Gas Treatment, Feed Gas Booster Compressor, Medium pressure compressors, Low Pressure Receiver, High pressure compressors, Buffer Storage, Plant Control System Analyzer and Sampling System(s), Trailer Loading Control Station, as well as a +/- 10% EPC Estimate.

The project’s success was driven by a strong partnership approach, with the team working closely with the client to support their broader vision. Their adaptive and responsive execution ensured the project met evolving business needs across multiple sites.
